Interscale as a company is taking measure to ensure our work will make a difference. Since early 2019, Interscale have implemented policies to be more environmentally responsible. Interscale have partnered with an IT recycling company so with all hardware projects, Interscale will also take the responsibility in making sure customer data is securely destroyed and equipment are recycled where possible and disposed properly.
At Centre Com we take our work seriously. We do not aim to be the biggest ICT provider, or to sell more devices than our competitors. Network Infrastructure Upgrade
As part of a network infrastructure project for the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Canberra, Centre Com engineers completed a detailed network design and configuration of a secured network upgrade, including both internal (LAN) and externally facing (WAN) networks.
This complex design saw two enterprise-grade Fortinet Fortigate firewalls deployed in a High-Availability configuration for fault-tolerance across the Embassy’s WAN, with an additional three Cisco Switches deployed within the core network, utilising strict VLAN assignment to allocate end-users, servers and other network devices to discrete networks as part of hardening the security of the internal data and networks.
Project delivery was completed on-premised at the securely monitored location of the UAE Embassy, in accordance with strict data and access controls.
As with most businesses that have grown organically over a long time, Stockdale & Leggo’s use of technology has been a patchwork of solutions Centre Com was brought on to consolidate, improve efficiency and look for cost savings.
Security as with most businesses was a major concern. This included email and device protection for near 400 people across 42 offices nationally.
We have rolled out a new Franchise Management system to give a data lake environment to use the data they have more efficiently across all offices. This has given them better insight into the functions of the business and more strategy planning with the franchise owners.
We have worked through Telephony and Internet Services which has reduced the monthly cost by $700. We are now in the process of testing a Centralised Phone and Call Centre for all the business units.
