 | In a move aimed at keeping sales of PCs moving while users wait for Windows 7, Microsoft is about to begin a sales promotion that lets people who buy PCs pre-installed with Windows Vista between June 26 and October 22 the option to receive a free or discounted upgrade to Windows 7 once it is released in late October (shipping fees will apply).
Qualifying Products:
- Windows Vista® Home Premium (SP1 or SP2) - Upgrade Edition Windows® 7 Home Premium
- Windows Vista® Business (SP1 or SP2) - Upgrade Edition Windows® 7 Professional
- Windows Vista® Ultimate (SP1 or SP2) - Upgrade Edition Windows® 7 Ultimate

 | Time is quickly running out for parents to purchase any new computers and or related equipment in order to claim your Education Tax Refund for this financial year, ending June 30.
For those who are not aware of the new incentive the following is a break down from the Taxation Office website..
The ETR entitles you to claim 50% of eligible education expenses up to the maximum claimable amounts. These are:
* $750 for each primary school child – that’s a maximum refund of $375 for each primary school child you have, and
* $1,500 for each secondary school child – that’s a maximum refund of $750 for each secondary school child. |
