The Hyper 212 EVO cooling systems are designed and optimized to provide the best user experience and cooling potential for a new generation of processors. Being a direct contact heat pipe cooler as always the idle temperature is great.... The load temperature is slightly reduced but nothing great...

For a budget cooler it is highly recommended by me.... :D

Upgraded from the stock AMD cooler to this on a Phenom II X2 550, reduced my idle temps by about 20 degrees, even after I unlocked 2 cores to turn the CPU into an X4.

Load temps down from a max of 90 degrees to around 58 degrees.

Highly recommended!
